CIO & Lead Consultant
Dick is a senior IT leader with experience in distribution, manufacturing, and banking, plus broad expertise in multiple technical domains.
He was most recently CIO of Transaction Graphics, a variable data printing firm. There, he aligned IT to the strategies of the business units, designed and built new products, upgraded the data center to a virtual server / SAN infrastructure with redundancy at every potential point of failure, while reducing the cost of IT.
Prior to that, Dick spent eight years at First Tennessee Bank and five years at Leader Federal Savings and Loan in various leadership roles including application management and technical support. He was responsible for 50 worldwide consultants and architects with CSC / Hogan Systems for five years.
He has managed large scale, multi-year projects, melding the efforts of vendors, independent consultants,and in-house teams of technical and functional resources to deliver strategic CRM systems, install and upgrade financial services software packages, and build centralized, cleansed, customer information databases. He has directed the work of teams responsible for mainframe, client/server, e-commerce, Wintel, Unix, network, security, application software, architecture, change management, database, patch management, and project management.
Dick was the 2009-10 President of the Memphis Chapter of the Society for Information Management.
