Rick Pride

Rick is an accomplished information management executive with broad and deep experience providing global business and technology leadership. His industry background includes heathcare, medical devices, pharmaceuticals, consumer products and government.

Most recently Rick was the president and founder of CIO Services Group and ImpactIT, a consulting organizations with key competencies in IT strategy and organization, business process improvement and sourcing. Prior to that, Rick was Chief Information Officer of Smith & Nephew, a global orthopedic medical device company.  

As a member of the executive team, Rick’s responsibilities included the global development, support and operation of computer systems, the development and management of information processes, telecommunications and the management and support of a world-wide network infrastructure. He provided global support and services for sales, marketing, manufacturing, quality, research, development, customer service and logistics as well as the administrative functions of the business.

Prior to Smith & Nephew, Rick was VP & CIO of Maybelline supporting their health and beauty aids business and leading their supply chain initiatives. As a divisional leader for Clairol, Bristol-Myers Squibb and Mead Johnson he provided IT leadership, internal consulting and technology assessment for consumer products, pharmaceuticals and over-the-counter drugs.

Rick is a computer science graduate of Purdue University and has an MBA from the University of Evansville. He serves on the International Executive Board of the Society for Information Management, the premier network of IT executives and thought leaders, the board of the Mid-South American Red Cross, the board of the Collierville Community Foundation  and the MIS Advisory Board for the University of Memphis. He also is an Executive-in-Residence for the University School of Business.
