Ben has particular skills with organizations undergoing rapid growth and change. Recently he has provided technical assessments and strategy involving a variety of computing platforms from mobile to large servers. These have included highly available, scalable and secure solutions ranging from redundant systems to hot disaster recovery models. He is a technology leader who introduces innovation that results in cost savings and speed to market. He is responsible for monitoring and evaluating technology trends and directions and develops strategic roadmaps that match appropriate technology solutions to business requirements, with an eye towards current and future needs. He also manages relationships with strategic and sourcing partners to optimize these solutions.
Ben joined CIO Services Group after over 25 years in key leadership positions with Fortune 50 enterprises such as FedEx, Inc. and International Paper Corporation. He was responsible for architecting and managing global, complex, mission-critical environments within the data centers of these large, multinational corporations.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mississippi. He has served on the BRIDGES Board of Advisors and the University of Mississippi School of Engineering Advisory Board Executive Committee.
