CIO Services Group is very committed to serving needs within our community. We volunteer and financially support both public service organizations and education institutions. We also participate in professional organizations to mentor other professionals and to continue our own professional development.
We are actively involved with the Red Cross, Bridges, Community Foundation and several military support foundations like the State Guard Association of the United States, the Wounded Warrior Project and other veteran organizations.
We actively support and participate in the University of Memphis’ Business Information Technology (BIT) Advisory Council, the University of Mississippi Engineering School Advisory Board, and the University of Kansas Business School Advisory Board. Several of our senior consultants are Executives in Residence at the University of Memphis. Some also lecture and participate in class team projects at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Our consultants are very involved with the Society for Information Management (SIM), Memphis Chapter, as well as with the National SIM. CIO Services is also a member of the Greater Memphis IT Council and our consultants are also members of the IEEE, TOGAF, CoBIT and Emerge Memphis, a high-tech startup incubator.
